It is so good to be back to designing and right at home with the Progressive Scrap challenge. We did experience a bit of a hiccup yesterday in the forum and the gallery but the Studio team jumped in and everything seems to be working properly now. If you were able to upload yesterday, please check to make sure your images are still in the gallery. A few things were lost and will need to be loaded again but this marks the final step in the new server upgrade at the Studio. It’s been a long road but the store and forum and gallery are super speedy now. I love that I’m at home in a store where the owner is always working to make improvements even if that means suffering temporarily through some growing pains.
I took the summer off to enjoy my family, do a bit of traveling, and rejuvenate. My mind (and note pad) is filled with inspiration and ideas for new products. In fact, it’s so full I’m having a hard time deciding what to start on first. Christmas is right around the corner and I have a unique idea on the drawing board that came from a conversation with a friend. Holiday themes and decorations have certainly changed over the years so the options for kits are endless. I am looking for some inspirational photos to help me complete this kit. I want to see what your holiday home looks like. I know it’s a little early but the retailers are ready with the trees and ornaments in place and many people will spend this weekend pulling their tree from the attic or shopping for a fresh cut beauty. I’m curious to know what your favorite ornament or decorative piece is. Share your story in the comments and let’s see what we have in common.
We vacationed in the U.S. and visited Karen (Snickerdoodle Designs). We had a wonderful time visiting their new home and I got to see Karen’s DIY: Plank Craft Room Wall up close and personal. I love being able to feel the electricity of creativity and it really buzzes when Karen and I are in the same room.
MISTY COVE
I have a brand new collection in the store to kick off my Grand Re-opening. Misty Cove is soft and gentle in subtle shades of gray and blue. I was going for relaxing, calm and quiet. It has a subtle feel and the Misty Cove Collection has 2 alphas and plenty of papers and elements to scrap any type of page. It’s on sale now for only $8.
Enjoy your weekend! I hope to see your holiday decorating favorites in the comments.
