Wow, it’s been a long time since I released a full collection – I’ve been creating single products, some commercial use, but ever since our puppy moved in I just didn’t have the time and focus to create something big.
Until now 🙂 … Here’s EnJOY: Ice Cream
– and I found the perfect quote to go with it:
Ice cream is happiness condensed. — Jessie Lane Adams
Enjoy life – one special moment at a time…
Like that moment when the first spoon full of ice cream melts in your mouth. The sweet, cool and creamy treat filling your mouth with it’s velvety texture.
That moment when a tub of ice cream and a handful of spoons is the cherry on top of a perfect family tv night.
The moment when a tub of ice cream seems like your only friend.
That moment when a trip to your favorite ice cream shop is crowned with a delicious sundae.
The face the baby made when getting the first taste of ice cream.
The agony of having to choose a taste from the long menu.
The happy jolt when hearing the ringing of the ice cream truck.
The heartbreak when one of the children drops a scoop in the dirt.
The happiness of sharing ice cream with a loved one.
I’m sure you can think of many more ice cream moments. There are so many of them in everybody’s life that I’ll run out of space trying to list them all.
Fortunately, here’s a collection to help you remember your ice cream moments, scrap them and turn them into cherished memories!
There’s also a Minikit Add-On that you can pick up free in my store – until Friday, July 6th! Don’t miss it 😉
Welcome to the Studio’s Annual Christmas Carol Blog Hop. Every year the Studio Designers gather together to “sing Christmas Carols” to all of our members, customers, fans & friends. It’s a way for us all to say: “Merry Christmas and a big Thank You for being so supportive”.
Each participating Designer has chosen a special Christmas Carol just for you and designed a cute mini freebie around it. So put on your dancing shoes & singing voices and come caroling with us.
I’m so happy to be part of this fantastic Holiday Blog Train again, this year, after taking a sabbatical last year 😀 Creating a kit around a Christmas Carol has turned into a fun way to get into the Christmas Spirit, because usually I can’t get the tune of my chosen song out of my head for days, lol.
This year “my” song is “Santa Claus is coming to town”. I love how it’s always getting me into a happy, festive mood.
Here’s a peek at the result, 15 elements and 13 papers (7 patterned and 6 solids):
And here are the download links, make sure to get both parts, the elements and the papers! Downloads will be available until January 2nd.
The free downloads are no longer available, but you can find the minikit here in my store.

Yes, it is!!! Woohoo! Happy first day of Spring! Or was that yesterday, since 2016 is a leap year? Oh – who cares, it is definitely, officially Spring now here 😀
I love sitting on our terrace, snuggled up in a warm jacket or even with a blanket (because those first sunny days are usually still pretty chilly), enjoying the light and the sounds of nature’s re-awakening. Yesterday the birdsong was joined by a funny, crunching noise – when I curiously looked around to figure out what it was, I saw a cute little brown mouse, sitting underneath a rose bush, happily nibbling away on a peanut. I wonder where he got that, maybe from a birdfeeder? Too cute – too bad I don’t come with a build-in camera so I could show you a picture, lol.
(We’ve had this mouse – or some ancestors- living in our garden for years, he (or they, lol) luckily never come into our house, even so our terrace door is often open – maybe they’re scared of our guinea pigs? ;D
All the Springtime songs and smells did inspire me to create a happy Spring collection:
There are some add-ons to go with the kit and even a little bonus if you pick up the complete collection:
And here’s some beautiful inspiration – a big “Thank you” to Pam and the girls from CT Hotspot for creating these! 😀
Right now – until March 27th, you can pick up the kit and add-ons for 30 % off, the complete collection plus bonus for 50 % off in my store at Digital Scrapbooking Studio.
Oh, and Café in Paris is retiring – save 75 % off until it’s gone forever on March 31st!
Joyce created a beautiful quickpage freebie for you – click image to download & enjoy:
Have a great Spring with lots of happy memories to scrap!
Hey all – today I’m looking for a little bit of input and help from you all…. I’m having major photobook woes… We went on a dream-like, wonderful, awesome vacation last Fall – to Hawaii and California. Perfect Bliss.
And I still have all these thousands (literally, lol) beautiful pictures sitting on my hard drive and sooooo want to put them into a book to look at them when and where I want to. But … it’s still not done yet, and I have barely started on it, because of this terrible monster called “perfectionism” rearing it’s head everytime I work on it… and I’m torn about what to do:
- Use the photobook software from one of the printing companies and just do a picture book? The ones I’ve looked at so far don’t even offer the option to add a drop shadow to your pictures, BUT I’d have a book to look at out beautiful photos pretty fast.
- Or do my pages in PS with drop shadows but only a bare minimum of embellishments and a uniform background – not that fast, but prettier and I’d have the layered files in case I’ll ever decide to redo it?
- Or accept that it’s going to take me ages and ages (even using Manda’s power scrapping method) and have a perfect book in the end (whenever that may be)?
What do you do? Is there another option that’s “perfect” (there’s that word again, lol) and I haven’t considered? I’d love to hear about your thoughts and methods…
Here’s a little something for you, a journal card created with my new collection “Giraffe Kisses”– click on image to download and enjoy!
Giraffe Kisses is on sale for at least 50 % off until Sunday, Feb 21st at Digital Scrapbooking Studio – if you love giraffes, this is a unique and fun kit to have (the giraffes are drawn by myself, you won’t find them anywhere else)…
Have a wonderful day and, please, don’t forget to let me know your thoughts about photobooks in the comments!! 😀
PS – There’s a great QP freebie using Giraffe Kisses on Digital Scrapbooking Studio’s blog…. 😉
Is Misty Cove on your wishlist? If so you might want to hop over to theStudio and get it today, because it’s today’s Daily Deal, meaning you will save 70 % off the kit, the collection and the sanded cardstock. Whew!
When I created this kit, it was November and these were my thoughts while working on it:
“Not every day on the beach is a day full of sunshine and fun in the waves. Not every day in our lives is a day full of laughter and love. Some days are sad, some are lonely, some are full of thought and these are just as important, even so they are admittedly less fun.
Here, November is a “time between times”. The Fall festivities are over and Christmas preparations have not started yet. In November we have All Saints, our Memorial Day and similar Holidays. It’s a time to remember, to catch your breath, to think about the past and the future, to make new plans – a time and a place between sadness and optimism; that is the mood I had in mind when designing this kit.
Misty Cove is the perfect collection to scrap all those photos of beach walks on not-so-perfectly-sunny days and also for pages dedicated to those we lost or thoughts about futures and plans still hidden by the mists of time.”
But – it’s actually a very versatile kit, as you can see in these beautiful pages, created by the talented ladies in my personal and theStudio’s creative teams:
Remember – the 70 % off are only valid today, February 17th….
Have a great day! 😀
in case you’ve been wondering why I have been so quiet lately: I’ve been (and still am) battling some stupid virus for over 4 weeks now. Not very funny, but I am finally starting to feel better and hope this trend will continue. Yeah! 😀
Anyway, I wanted to give you a quick update and – most important- a heads-up: Today is the last day to pick up all the gorgeous Winters Frost Coordinated Collection products for 1 $ at the Studio store!!! So if there are still some you’ve been considering picking up, go get them today…
Here’s a look at my pieces and some of the gorgeous layouts the CT members have created with them. They’re fabulous (the ladies, as well, as the pages, lol):
… and if you’re subscribed to my newsletter, you can look forward to this QP freebie:
Have a great day!!!
We shared our NYE with Toiny Westberry from theStudio. It was fun, it was festive and a bit wild at times. Exactly what a wonderful New Year’s Eve should be. I hope to get a page scrapped soon but I didn’t want to wait on my mojo because The Midnight Hour is still on sale AND I have another freebie that coordinates beautifully (in case you’re waiting on some mojo too).
I truly love this kit. Diane and I were specifically thinking of a kit for New Year’s Eve when we created it but I think it has the potential to dress up photos from any occasion. Since it’s the NYE photos that most of us have in our camera and the NYE stories that are most fresh in our mind I wanted to share this lovely page border today.
I’m looking for inspiration for next year. It’s one of my resolutions to start earlier and bring you more of what you need to scrap your memories. I would love to hear about your NYE celebrations and if you have special requests for a new NYE kit be sure to give me as many details as possible.
The Midnight Hour with ADB-Designs is in sale this week for 50% off. And come back before the sale ends. I’ll have at least one more freebie for you.
Have a great weeekend!
I always look forward to ringing in the new year whether it’s just the two of us or we’re joined by friends. The glitter and glitz is what was on my mind when I was working on Midnight Hour with Diane of ADB-Designs. This collaboration was released last year but it’s timeless and will go with any NYE photos. Best of all it’s on sale for 70% off today ONLY so don’t miss out!
The complete Midnight Hour collection will be on sale for the next week. Stop back by to pick up a special freebie and be sure to visit the ADB-Designs website and pick up the coordinating freebie from Diane.
